Guy Pigden is a multi faceted freelancer who just completed his second feature film Older. His first feature film I Survived A Zombie Holocaust (funded by the NZFC through the Escalator initiative), which he wrote and directed, enjoyed a successful international festival run and won the Independent Spirit Award at Sydney's Night of Horror International Film Festival. It was also nominated for best screenplay at the 2015 New Zealand Writers Guild awards. In 2016 his independently produced short film 'No Caller I.D.', won best short film at Sydney's Night Of Horror international film festival.

Guy currently works for '90 seconds TV'  and ‘Red Carpet TV’ creating promotional video's and advertisements for corporate event's, products, brands and companies for both internal and external use in a variety of styles and formats.  He has created content for Panasonic, Ray White Realty, Visa, Manukau Institute Of Technology, High Life and Westpac amongst others. His production company most recently produced, wrote, and directed 'Harrow', a 5 part Web series for NZME's Watchme online video platform. The series has over 60,000 views per episode and will be featured on Vodafone's new streaming service.

As a writer, Guy's script for I Survived A Zombie Holocaust was nominated for Best Feature Film Screenplay and Best Emerging Writer categories in the NZWG awards of 2015. He most recently co-wrote a 7 part educational series for Auckland university designed to encourage critical thinking at high schools. He also co-wrote ‘Welcome To The Farm’ a fully interactive C.I.A puzzle solving installation which debuted at 2018’s South By South West film festival to promote the new American television series ‘Condor’.
